Many municipalities loan AV1s to schools if they meet certain allocation criteria. Schools can also purchase AV1s directly from us – we recommend introducing them to it using our introduction video and safeguarding information.
AV1 classroom robots are designed for children and young people with long-term illness, other medical needs or anxiety. In most cases, they do not want the pressure of being seen.
AV1 is very easy to use, and the robot should be treated like any other student in the class. The student just needs an internet connection and a smartphone or tablet, and there needs to be 4G or WiFi available at the school.
